I was born and raised in the working class, boroughs of New York City. I spent 10 years climbing telephone poles as an installer for the telephone company. The money was amazing, as were the benefits and the pension. However this was not enough to keep me ten more years. It was not fulfilling. It did not allow me to utilize my true strengths and talent to assist others in a greater capacity. I moved to Colorado to attend the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2003. I set up a small private practice immediately after graduation and continued to work random jobs until my practice grew. I have since married and moved to Denver to revisit my urban roots. I now have a Denver practice, work at The Wellness Center and supervise clinic at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. I enjoy volunteering, dancing and most sports. I am a skilled chef and subscribe to a healthy plant based diet. I am currently running and plan on breaking 5 minutes for the mile within the next 2 years. I have been a volunteer massage therapist for Hospice since January 2004. One day I will operate a bed and breakfast retreat, where I am the cook and the massage therapist. For now, I intend on building community here in Denver. |
